Hey, thank you so much for taking the time to join me on this journey. I want to give a little backstory on how I decided to go on a mission trip. The past two years of high school have been some of the most stressful times with the unbearable pressure of having a major and college picks out. The pressure did not subside when I reached senior year as I had hoped it would. The idea of immediately going to college after graduating high school always made me overwhelmed with panic. Amid my worry, God reminded me of a lost dream of going on my mission trip after graduation. Immediately my mom and I began researching gap year programs that were heavily Christ-centered. As I was researching, my friend Katelyn, a past participant of the World Race, told me about her experience with the program. I felt the calming spirit of God as she spoke that the World Race is the program for me. Now I am here, excited and hopeful for what God is going to do next. I am beyond blessed to have this opportunity to embark on a journey of faith, growth, and knowledge. I am leaning fully into God’s provision. I love God and I love people, I finally get to combine the two in the best way possible! With all that said, thank you again for joining me on a wonderful adventure.
